A new partitioning concept allowed for a reduced shell thickness and flowing design lines made the product look up to date. The product was successfully realized, transferred to production and produced in hundreds of thousands until today.

In 2022, we partnered with BeeHero, a leader in precision pollination, to design and guide production of their core hardware: the in-hive sensor and field gateway.
This was more than a product challenge-it was a user empathy challenge. Farmers and beekeepers are often underserved by modern technology, not because they don’t need it, but because too much of it is designed without their context in mind. Taking daily medication no matter how important, can easily be forgotten when everyday life gets in the way. A medical device company approached the studio with a project that combines product and user interface design with an emphasis on the users’ experience.
The challenge in this project was to design and develop a smart medication dispenser that is portable, discreet and fits various medication modalities.
