Roket Modular Catering Packaging System

When Roket, one of Israel’s leading catering brands, set out to redesign their serving trays, the challenge was not aesthetic, it was operational. Multiple packaging components, fragmented suppliers and time-consuming daily assembly created friction across the system. This project transformed their catering packaging into a unified, modular architecture now produced and sold at scale.

Services Provided

The Operational Challenge

Roket’s serving trays were built from eight separate packaging elements sourced from four different suppliers. Assembly required time, coordination and end of day preparation. Teams would stay behind to pre fold trays for the following morning. The system lacked structural consistency, stackability and scalability. Inventory management was fragmented. Storage was inefficient. Expansion was limited. The design problem was operational.

Design Strategy

The approach focused on architectural clarity.Component reduction from eight elements to five Supplier consolidation from four to two Fully stackable geometry Reinforced base shell for structural rigidity Transparent rigid lid for food visibility Unified branded locking bandEvery decision aimed to simplify production, streamline logistics and strengthen visual coherence. This was not packaging decoration. It was system design.

Measurable Impact

The new system delivered immediate results.Significantly reduced assembly time Elimination of daily pre folding routines Fifty percent reduction in packaging elements per configuration Improved inventory control Simplified storage through full stackability Consolidated supplier networkThe system is now in full production and has been sold in hundreds of thousands of units.Design translated directly into operational efficiency.

Modular Architecture

The platform consists of a structurally reinforced base shell, a rigid transparent lid and a branded locking band.Integrated interfaces allow modular cups and inserts to sit precisely within the tray geometry. All elements nest and stack, reducing storage volume and simplifying handling across locations. The architecture balances structural performance with premium presentation.

Aero Sentinel

A Quadcopter for quick response missions

One of my childhood dreams, a long time before I founded my studio, was to design an aircraft. When Aero Sentinel, an Israeli UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) manufacturer asked the studio to design a quadcopter for highly demanding quick response missions, we were very excited to get started.
The challenge in this project was to design and construct an aerodynamic quadcopter that will be energy efficient, and have minimal drag while flying in high velocity towards the target. The end result that was developed in cooperation with Aero Sentinel is a UAV with a unique aerodynamic form.

Flybuster

An extendable fly trap

The fly trap requires sufficient volume to include its special liquid which attracts the flies as well enough empty space. The studio re-designed this blockbuster product with the intention to reduce production and logistics cost and improve retail presentation. The final product presented a design with a new expanding container which is shipped and sold in compact configuration and opened in time for out-doors use. FlyBuster’s open configuration multiplies it’s “catch” volume by 3 times trapping hundreds of annoying flies…
